Crystal recently moved to Colorado in March of this year and is looking forward to new possibilities at both CC and in Colorado as a whole! She attended Agnes Scott College and received her BA in English and Education. After working in her local community college in her hometown of Waukegan, IL, she decided she wanted to pursue a career in higher education and event planning. We are excited to have her as part of our team!

Zachary Kusch

Administrative Assistant
(he/him/his)

Zachary moved to Colorado in 2023 hoping to escape the bleak heat and even bleaker flatness of North Texas. He attended the University of North Texas and received both a BA and MA in English. After working for the same university throughout graduate school, he decided he enjoyed the atmosphere and culture of higher education enough to continue to pursue a career there - just in a better locale!

Arts & Crafts

Rebecca ParkerRebecca-Parker-Headshot3.jpg

Director of Arts & Crafts
(she/her/hers)
rparker@ftigo.com
(719) 389-6769

Rebecca recently joined Colorado College as the Director of the Arts and Craft Program after spending the last seven years at Ox-Bow School of Art and Artists Residency in Saugatuck, MI. She is deeply interested in craft-based histories and contemporary craft practices. She is excited to continue to expand on the culture of craft at CC and to build partnerships with students, staff, and faculty to shape the vision for the future.

Rebecca is an artist, educator, and administrator whose creative practice takes many forms from ceramics to relational and socially engaged work to arts programming and administration in cultural organizations. She is passionate about spaces at the intersection of art, education, and community and is interested in examining how trust, vulnerability, and risk-taking play a part in expanding personal growth. Rebecca grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and received her BFA in ceramics from Middle Tennessee State University and Master of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut. When not in the ceramic’s studio, she enjoys traveling, seeing art, and enjoying the outdoors in her new home in Colorado.
